Cordova, Smart & Williams Invests in Eateries, Inc.

New York, NY, December 30, 2006 — Cordova, Smart & Williams, LLC (CSW), today announced that it has completed an investment in Eateries, Inc., an Oklahoma-based casual dining restaurant company with units in 23 states. Eateries operates two concepts: Garfield’s, an American casual dining chain, and Garcia’s, a Mexican casual dining chain.

Recognized for their friendly family atmosphere and mall-based themed restaurants, Eateries focuses on offering a broad menu of appetizing fare at competitive prices. This approach has enabled Eateries to expand from a single location in Edmond, Oklahoma to over 70 locations throughout the U.S., positioning the company for additional growth.
